Serum ferritin in type I diabetes.

    Summary

    Serum ferritin levels were unchanged by hyperglycemia in type I diabetic men. However, glycosylation of serum ferritin remained consistent between diabetic and control groups, suggesting hyperglycemia does not impact this protein's enzymatic glycosylation.
