Pathogenicity of FAdV-D serotype 2 in broiler and layer chicks

Fowl adenovirus D (FAdV-D) serotype 2 caused significant histopathological damage in broiler and layer chicks, with broilers showing greater susceptibility. This FAdV-D infection also demonstrated an immunosuppressive effect on chickens.
