Gut microbiota alterations, including decreased Bacteroides intestinalis and increased Ruminococcus gnavus, are linked to erectile dysfunction (ED). These changes may influence ED pathogenesis through atherosclerosis and amino acid metabolism, suggesting potential for microbiota-targeted therapies.
