Mesenchymal stem cells in the bone marrow microenvironment: a double-edged sword for AML

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have complex roles in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), supporting cancer growth but also potentially inhibiting it. Targeting MSCs offers new therapeutic strategies for AML treatment.
