Pregnancy in Patients With McArdle's Disease

Pregnancy in women with McArdle's disease (Glycogen storage disease type V) is generally safe, with symptoms often improving during gestation. Careful management during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum can prevent complications like rhabdomyolysis.
