Summary

The erector spinae plane block (ESPB) offers superior pain relief for percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD) compared to fentanyl analgesia. ESPB significantly reduces post-procedure pain scores and opioid requirements, enhancing patient comfort.
