Optimizing the faecal immunochemical test (FIT) threshold for iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) patients can improve cost-effectiveness. An optimal FIT threshold range of 10-17 µg/g is identified to guide appropriate panenteric capsule endoscopy (PCE) use.
