None:
Vaccination remains a key strategy in combating COVID-19, especially among vulnerable populations such as older adults and those with underlying health conditions. Despite the WHO's goal of achieving 100% vaccination coverage in older adults, a substantial proportion remains unvaccinated, even after the WHO declared the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency on May 5, 2023. This cross-sectional study addresses a gap in the literature by focusing on vaccination intentions among unvaccinated older adults in the post-pandemic phase. A convenience sample of 360 Thai older adults who had not received any COVID-19 vaccines as of that date was recruited. Factors associated with greater vaccination intention included higher perceived susceptibility to COVID-19, greater perceived benefits of vaccination, and not having a family history of COVID-19. These findings highlight the need for targeted communication strategies that address specific perceptions and experiences to improve vaccine uptake among older adults in the post-pandemic context.
