    Summary

    Treatment strategies for thyroid cancer vary by tumor type. Anaplastic carcinomas may benefit from tumor reduction, while follicular carcinomas require near-total thyroidectomy, radioiodine, and hormonal therapy due to metastasis risk. Papillary and C-cell carcinomas have tailored surgical approaches based on stage and type.
