Abstract
Objectives:
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the benefits and risks of lightweight mesh compared with heavyweight mesh in any open mesh-reinforced hernia repair as well as in laparoscopic repair (TAPP, TEP, or robotic TAPP) in adults with an inguinal hernia.
