Abstract:
This paper outlines the key insights gained from the design and implementation of a Biobank Information Support System (BIS) at the N.N. Burdenko National Medical Research Center for Neurosurgery. Given the pivotal role biobanks play in advancing personalized medicine, such systems should ideally be developed by specialized companies and integrated as essential components of the information infrastructure within major medical institutions.
