Relation between vitamin D deficiency and diabetic maculopathy.

Vitamin D deficiency is linked to diabetic maculopathy, impacting retinal vascular density and the foveal avascular zone. Maintaining adequate vitamin D may help prevent microvascular damage in diabetic retinopathy.
