High-density lipoprotein cholesterol and multiple sclerosis: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) have lower high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels compared to healthy individuals. This finding suggests lipid profiles, particularly HDL-C, are important in assessing RRMS disease activity.
