Abstract:
The investigation on the occurrence of immunological complexes in 20 children with rheumatic fever (RF) and 15 suffering from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) were carried out. A group of 15 healthy children served as control. The presence of circulating immune complexes was found in 10 out of 20 children with acute RF and in 12 out of 15 children with JRA. The investigation of immune complexes in the third and sixth week of treatment showed decreasing concentration of proteins determined by PEG precipitation method.
