Two-dimensional (2D) ammonium tungsten bronze as a doped degenerate semiconductor material has attracted extensive attention. Due to its special channel structure, large specific surface area, and high activity, it is fully utilized in various types of optoelectronic devices. The one-step hydrothermal synthesis method is not only simple to operate but also highly repeatable. In this paper, it is proved for the first time that hexamethylenetetramine (HMTA) as a dopant can realize the one-step hydrothermal synthesis of ammonium tungsten bronze (AWO) nanosheets. In addition, it was prepared by a hydrothermal method, its characteristics and internal structure were analyzed based on various characterization techniques, and the synthesis ratio of the synthetic material was optimized. The stoichiometric formula of the synthesized material was (NH4)0.5WO2.929, which has a broad optical absorption in the infrared wavelength range. Moreover, 2D AWO exhibit plasma formats at 2200 nm and 3100 nm. 2D AWO extends the current working band of metal oxide nanomaterials and provides a new idea for hybrid integrated optical waveguide sensing and detection.
