Potential Causal Relationship Between Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Diabetes: A Bidirectional Two-Sample

Type 2 diabetes (T2D) causally increases the risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Europeans. This study found a significant link, but more research is needed to understand the exact mechanisms.
