Do partners influence each other during assisted flights from acrobatic gymnastics?

Acrobatic gymnasts exhibit highly synchronized movements during partner-assisted flight. Despite variations in task difficulty and experience, direct mutual influence between base and top gymnasts was not clearly evidenced.
