Abstract:
The development of high-performance hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF)-based materials holds significant scientific importance and practical value, yet it also presents substantial challenges. In this study, we constructed an inorganic-organic Bi2WO6-HOF (BiWOH, BiWO=Bi2WO6, HHOF) heterojunction, which significantly enhanced the separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs. Experimental results demonstrate that under visible light irradiation, the photocatalytic hydrogen production performance of the BiWOH heterojunction is markedly superior to that of pure HOF materials. Notably, in the absence of any co-catalyst, the H2 evolution rate of BiWOH-70 reaches 8.8 mmol·g-1·h-1. Furthermore, the BiWOH-70 composite demonstrates outstanding cycling stability, maintaining consistent catalytic activity without any noticeable decline after four consecutive reaction cycles. Additionally, it achieves an apparent quantum efficiency (AQY) of 2.01 % at a wavelength of 405 nm. Through rational heterojunction design, this study successfully overcomes the inherent limitations of HOF materials, providing new insights and methodologies for enhancing photocatalytic performance.
