Gunshot-Induced Popliteal Artery Pseudoaneurysm: A Case Report

Popliteal artery pseudoaneurysms from gunshot wounds are rare but dangerous. Prompt CT angiography and surgical repair are crucial for limb salvage and preventing complications.

- The patient achieved full neurovascular recovery post-intervention.
Implications:
- Clinical examination alone is insufficient for diagnosing vascular injuries; high suspicion and imaging are vital.
- CT angiography is essential for equivocal limb trauma cases to ensure prompt diagnosis and treatment.
- Advances in imaging and grafting materials improve outcomes in complex popliteal artery injuries.
