An electrochemical radical fluorosulfonylation of allenols was achieved in continuous flow. Novel tetrasubstituted alkenylsulfonyl fluorides are directly accessed via this protocol. Preliminary mechanistic studies and density functional theory (DFT) calculations reveal this transformation proceeds through a cascade reaction involving FSO2• addition, 1,2-migration, unusual 4-endo-trig radical cyclization, and 1,3-migration to afford alkenylsulfonyl fluorides under electrochemical conditions.
