Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) inhibitors reduced fat mass and improved glucose intolerance in mice on a high-fat diet. These CaMKII inhibitors suppressed fat cell differentiation and lipid accumulation, offering a potential obesity treatment strategy.
