Objectives:
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (overview). The objectives are as follows: To synthesise the evidence from Cochrane and non-Cochrane systematic reviews of randomised controlled trials on the comparative clinical effectiveness, aesthetic, and patient-reported outcomes of soft tissue augmentation procedures with or without the use of soft tissue substitutes around teeth, dental implants, or both.
