- Public Health
- Intervention Science
Background:
- Fall prevention is crucial for older adults, yet research on Hispanic/Latino populations is scarce.
- Hispanic/Latino older adults represent a rapidly growing demographic in the United States.
- Existing fall prevention strategies may not adequately address the unique needs of this population.
Purpose of the Study:

- A systematic literature search will be conducted across PubMed, PsycINFO, Web of Science, and CINAHL.
- Data extraction and screening will be managed using Covidence.
Main Results:
- This section will be populated upon completion of the review.
- Results will detail the characteristics of identified fall prevention interventions.
- The findings will highlight trends, gaps, and areas for future research.
Conclusions:
- This scoping review protocol provides a framework for a much-needed investigation.
- The findings are expected to guide the development of evidence-based, culturally appropriate fall prevention programs.
