Abstract:
Interventional pain treatments provide nonpharmacologic options for pain management via percutaneous procedures. They are typically used to treat patients who are refractory to physical therapy and are often, but not exclusively, used in patients refractory to, intolerant of, or disinterested in pharmacotherapy. In this article, we provide an overview of interventional pain treatments for painful conditions that neurologists often encounter in clinical practice.
