Abstract:
We have developed a visible-light-induced dual-oxidative decarboxylative coupling reaction between glycine derivatives and carboxylic acids. The reaction utilizes CeCl3 as both a SET and LMCT catalyst, enabling the formation of α-alkylated glycine derivatives with high efficiency. This method exhibits a broad substrate scope, excellent functional group compatibility, and efficient transformation of glycine into various natural and non-natural α-alkylated amino acids.
