Abstract:
In children and teenagers, RMS is the most prevalent soft tissue sarcoma and a very aggressive tumor. The genitourinary tract, head, and neck are where it most commonly occurs. There are still extremely few examples of paratesticular localization in the literature, and it is still considered uncommon. We report a case of a 17-year-old male admitted for what was initially diagnosed as an epididymal abscess. Intraoperative exploration revealed a firm mass in the epididymis, prompting a biopsy. Histopathological examination confirmed an alveolar paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma.
