Labial Adhesion in Postmenopausal Women: A Case Report

• Physical examination revealed complete labial fusion.
• Despite UTI symptoms, diagnostic workup ruled out active infection.

Findings:

• Cystoscopy identified cystitis cystica near the trigone.
• Procedures included urethral dilation and vaginoplasty, with Foley catheter placement.
• The patient's history of UTIs and urethral stricture were noted comorbidities.

Implications:

• This case underscores the importance of considering labial adhesions in older women presenting with lower urinary tract symptoms.
• Vaginal estrogen cream was recommended for treatment and prevention of recurrence.
• Integrated gynecological and urological management is crucial for complex cases.
