Abstract:
In order to break through the double bottleneck of traditional single skeleton adsorbent materials in terms of adsorption capacity and selectivity, and realize the efficient removal of typical aromatic pollutants in the environment. In this study, using coal gangue (CG) as the raw material, the first skeleton was formed by thermal activation and modification of gangue (MCG) with organic acid. The sol-gel technology was adopted, and sodium alginate (SA) connected by potassium humate (KHA) was used as the second skeleton material. An adsorption material with a dual skeleton structure of P-KHA/SA/PEI/GLU/MCG (P-KSGM) was successfully synthesized, and apply it to the removal of Methylene blue (MB) and Phenol (pH). The adsorption of MB and Ph by P-KSGM is consistent with a pseudo-second order kinetic model, the isothermal adsorption process for MB is more consistent with the Langmuir model and the isothermal adsorption process for Ph is more consistent with the Freundlich model, with maximum adsorption capacities of 813.01 mg/g for MB and 418.41 mg/g for Ph, and adsorption MB is a heat-absorbing process, while adsorption Ph is an exothermic process. The adsorption process is a dynamic process constructed by chemical/physical adsorption, so as to realize the effective removal of MB and Ph from wastewater. Through five adsorption-desorption cycle experiments P-KSGM still has 81.36 % and 35.20 % removal efficiency for MB and Ph, with excellent recycling performance.
