In this system, Piezo channel expression and function are closely related to various physiological activities and pathological states, playing a pivotal role in digestive disease development. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive review of the structural characteristics of Piezo channels, their expression patterns in the digestive system, and their mechanisms of action, as well as their potential therapeutic applications in various digestive diseases. Furthermore, this paper will explore the potential of Piezo channels as therapeutic targets, with the aim of providing scientific evidence and theoretical support for future clinical diagnosis and therapeutic strategies for digestive diseases.
