Abstract:
Iron porphyrins functionalized with -NH2, -COOH and -C6F5 groups were investigated for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). FePor-C6F5/CNT exhibited the best activity, influenced by electronic modulation. All catalysts demonstrated a preference for the 4e- route, providing valuable insights into the design of molecular catalysts for energy applications.
