    Background:

    • Microprolactinoma, a common pituitary tumor, presents diagnostic challenges.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the utility of computed tomography (CT) in diagnosing microprolactinoma.
    • To assess the effects of bromocriptine treatment on pituitary tumor size and density using CT.

    • Computed tomography (CT) scans of the pituitary were performed on 10 patients with microprolactinoma before and after bromocriptine treatment.
    • Sagittal reconstruction images were utilized for enhanced visualization.

    Main Results:

    • Intrapituitary low densities, indicative of microprolactinoma, were observed in 70% of patients before treatment.
