Discovering civic science and telling the negative committee to shut up-again
1Northeastern University, Boston, MA 02115.
Abstract:
Over 10 years ago, I published a reflection in Science's Working Life section about confronting the negative committee in my mind as a graduate student at Stanford. In this follow-up reflection, I share my transition from neuroscience to civic science after my postdoc, where I once again confronted the same internal voices of doubt. As before, I succeeded in telling the negative committee to shut up.
