    Background:

    • Acute Organ System Failure (OSF) is a critical condition in intensive care units (ICUs).

    • To describe the current prognosis of patients experiencing acute Organ System Failure (OSF).
    • To establish objective definitions for five OSFs and link their occurrence and duration to patient outcomes.
