Abstract:
Aryl esters have emerged as commonly used reagents for acylation reactions in chemical synthesis, and can be utilized for N-acylation of sulfoximines in the present work. The reactions proceed efficiently with an air- and moisture-stable Pd-NHC (N-heterocyclic carbene) precatalyst, in which various NH-sulfoximines and functionalized aryl esters are well tolerated, enabling the formation of N-aroylsulfoximine products in good to excellent yields.
