When the Unexpected Happens: Diffuse Alveolar Hemorrhage in Negative-Pressure Pulmonary Edema

Negative-pressure pulmonary edema (NPPE) can rarely cause diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH). This case shows prompt management of NPPE following airway obstruction led to full recovery from DAH.

- The patient received supportive care, including mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic support.

- This case highlights that brief airway obstruction can trigger DAH via NPPE.
