An underdiagnosed manifestation: Mandibular bone loss in primary hyperparathyroidism

Mandibular bone loss, indicated by lower Parathyroid Mandibular Index (PMI) values, may signal osteoporosis in primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) patients. Dental X-rays could aid in assessing osteoporosis risk in PHPT individuals.
