None:
The Taiwan Public Health Indicator Platform (twPHIP) was developed to improve data interpretability, indicator comprehensiveness, and user-oriented comparability in public health administration by integrating FHIR standards and interactive visualization tools.
Method:
The platform aggregates 2019-2023 public health indicators and supports institutional data uploads via Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). An evaluation was conducted with 58 stakeholders across four dimensions: interpretability, comprehensiveness, comparability, and FHIR-based data upload mechanisms.
Results:
The evaluation demonstrated high agreement across all dimensions: indicator coverage (4.48), user-oriented comparability (4.37), and data presentation clarity (4.34), with 100% approval for FHIR-based uploads. Participants acknowledged the platform's effectiveness in supporting public health decision-making.
Conclusion:
twPHIP provides a scalable, interoperable framework for public health informatics, facilitating data-driven decision-making and policy evaluation. Future enhancements should incorporate AI-driven analytics, Smart-on-FHIR authentication, and customizable indicator reporting to improve automation, security, and policy support.
