Rehabilitation medicine is a relatively novel speciality in Sri Lanka. Therefore the newly appointed rehabilitation consultants have the difficult task of managing patients from different wards in different hospitals and then having to follow them up as well. The project identified both broad and detailed requirements for the system and was able to lead to the development of a prototype system as the first step.
