The Missouri Cancer Registry and Research Center MCRRC implemented a modernization initiative integrating automation and AI to improve the efficiency of cancer surveillance activities. Key challenges included staff adaptation, data variability, and system integration. Post-implementation, case closure times improved, error rates declined, and manual tasks were reduced. These findings support the scalability of informatics-driven modernization across cancer registry systems.
