Abstract:
This paper introduces the development and application of a non-contact electromyography (EMG) measurement technique based on capacitive coupling principles to detect surface muscle discharge signals. This innovative approach not only eliminates the limitations of invasive procedures but also achieves accurate EMG signal detection through fabric up to 1.5 mm thick. Moreover, it can be integrated into various wearables such as wristbands, knee braces, and sports pants, making it suitable for diverse applications, including sports performance monitoring, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.
