Abstract:
The intersection of health, climate, food systems, and artificial intelligence (AI) is critical for addressing global challenges like disaster preparedness, food insecurity, and health inequities. On November 13, 2024, the Health, Climate, Food, and AI Workshop convened 35+ experts at the University of California, Berkeley. Discussions emphasized interdisciplinary collaboration, ethical frameworks, and community engagement. Key findings highlight AI's potential to optimize disaster response, enhance equity, and support systemic change while underscoring challenges like transparency, data integration, and alignment with societal values.
