Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the impact of virtual reality (VR) headset use on anxiety levels in patients undergoing urodynamic testing.

  • A randomized controlled trial was conducted with 86 participants undergoing urodynamic evaluation.
  • Participants were assigned to either a VR group (watching nature videos) or a control group (standard procedure).
  • Anxiety was measured using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI I-II) pre- and post-procedure.
