Case Summary:
Fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) is a noninflammatory vascular disease that predominantly affects women. A 42-year-old man with progressive claudication presented with superficial femoral artery occlusion, tortuous coronary arteries, and radial artery involvement. Histopathology confirmed FMD despite atypical sex and vascular distribution.
Take-Home Messages:
FMD must be considered in young men with nonatherosclerotic vascular disease. Multimodal imaging and biopsy are critical for diagnosis.
