Metasurface-loaded silicon-graphene composite twin-port THz radiator with pattern diversity and circular polarization
Abstract:
This paper provides a plan and study of a circular aperture stimulated two-port dielectric radiator in the THz regime. Three major contributions of the proposed antenna are as follows: (a) diagonal perturbation of Si-dielectric provides the circular polarization within 2.4-2.75 THz; (b) anti-parallel placement of ports as well as change in polarization with diverse ports aids to grow separation above 30 dB between two ports; and (c) metasurface (MS) walls in between the two ports tilt far field by . A thin layer of graphene over Si-dielectric makes the complete design frequency agile. HFSS and CST EM simulator confirm that the designed radiator functions between 2.2 and 2.91 THz. Far-field and MIMO parameters show good stability within the working regime and make the radiator appropriate for the THz-created 6G communication systems.
