The Relationship Between Macular Pigment Optical Volume and Visual Function in Glaucoma Patients

Macular pigment optical volume (MPOV) showed no association with visual field sensitivity or retinal structure in glaucoma patients. This indicates no clear link between MPOV and glaucomatous damage.

- Macular pigment optical volume (MPOV) is not associated with visual field sensitivity, GCC, or NFL thickness in glaucoma.
- These findings suggest no direct structural or functional link between MPOV and the extent of glaucomatous damage.
