Summary

Promoting moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and adequate sleep in preschoolers is linked to better executive function (EF). Shifting time from sleep or sedentary behavior (SB) to MVPA may negatively impact EF, highlighting the importance of balanced 24-hour movement behaviors (24h-MBs).
