Nonneural Granular Cell Tumor of the Eyelid in a 10-Year-Old Boy

Nonneural granular cell tumors are rare neoplasms and their histogenesis remains incompletely understood. While these tumors share morphological similarities with conventional granular cell tumors, they are thought to represent a distinct entity owing to their lack of S100 protein expression. The authors report the first published case of pediatric eyelid nonneural granular cell tumors - only the third known eyelid presentation case described to date. This case highlights the importance of accurate histopathological diagnosis and contributes to the limited body of literature guiding the surgical management of these rare tumors.
