[Case of palpebral nystagmus with a benign course]

A case of eye-lid nystagmus, synchronous to a vertical nystagmus, in a 35 year old female patient is extensively presented. Vestibular examinations and BAEPs were suggestive of an impairment of pontomesencephalic structures. Following an aspecific drug therapy the s. had a noticeable improvement with reduction of the symptomatology.
