Nonlinear optical forces of femtosecond polarized circular Airy Gaussian pulses on nanoparticles

We numerically investigate the nonlinear optical forces induced by femtosecond linearly polarized circular Airy (LPCA) and radially polarized circular Airy (RPCA) Gaussian pulses on nanoparticles. The optical forces are enhanced by the nonlinear polarization effects induced in both particles and the surrounding medium, and the pulse-specific temporal force shifts the trapping position (p_t) of particles forward along the propagation z axis during the pulse duration. Additionally, we compare with the nonlinear optical forces generated by equivalent focused Gaussian pulses. The results indicate that the LPCA beam demonstrates superior stable trapping performance compared to both the RPCA beam and the focused Gaussian pulses, with extended trapping duration, significantly reduced displacement of p_t over time, and optical forces an order of magnitude stronger.
