A Levonorgestrel-Releasing Intrauterine Device in the Right Upper Quadrant: A Case Report

A misplaced levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine device (IUD) caused abdominal pain in a postpartum patient. The IUD migrated from the uterus to the omentum, requiring surgical intervention.

- Laparoscopic examination confirmed the IUD was located within the omentum, near the hepatic flexure.

- Enhanced imaging and surgical evaluation may be necessary for diagnosing and managing displaced intrauterine devices (IUDs).
